
The courses will encompass the modern screenwriting experience, with individual classes in which students can explore their preferred avenue of expression: feature-length scripts, television scripts, and short-form scripts. The fourth class will cover the final editing, pitching, and submission of their chosen script form. Participants may enroll in any of the class they desire, for a registration fee of $100 per class, or for all four classes at the rate of $300.

Each class will include a lecture, practical writing lab, and literary critique session, with a one-
hour lunch break provided.

Fundamentals in Screenwritingwill be taught by Lee Keeler, the first MFA graduate in Dramatic Writing in the history of SCAD. Keeler has taught script composition for the Savannah College of Art and Design Community Education Program, and has written professional shorts that have appeared in film festivals worldwide.

At no additional charge, a follow-up course, The Dramatist Forum, will be offered to registered students once a month for the following three months, allowing them to bring in their material as it develops. Extensive notes on revision/editing and screenwriting updates will be offered for participants.
